Responsibilities
- Implement, debug, and enhance software components for efficient workload scheduling.
- Develop tools to measure, quantify, and fine-tune production load.
- Identify and drive compute infrastructure optimizations and improvements to user experience.
- Design large-scale systems while balancing reliability and maintainability.
- Collaborate with partners across Alphabet to gather requirements and drive adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of C++ software development experience, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- Experience with refactoring, multithreaded programming, performance analysis, and simulation.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies, machine learning, Python, and SQL.
