Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Manage and scale containerized workloads on Kubernetes clusters in AWS GovCloud.
- Automate infrastructure, configuration, and deployment pipelines using Terraform, Terragrunt, Docker, AWS, and Argo CD.
- Design and maintain air-gapped deployment methodologies for secure and isolated environments.
- Build and optimize monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for platform availability and visibility.
- Troubleshoot complex distributed-system, infrastructure, and network issues.
- Lead technical initiatives, mentor engineers, participate in architectural reviews, and create technical documentation.
- Implement enterprise security standards and maintain compliance with federal requirements.
- Collaborate with development teams, security leaders, and cross-functional partners.
Requirements
- The role requires U.S. citizenship because of federal government contract requirements.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government TS/SCI security clearance with CI Polygraph; an active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph is strongly preferred.
- Senior-level qualifications require 5+ years of hands-on experience with production cloud infrastructure, DevOps pipelines, or platform engineering systems.
- Senior-level qualifications require 3+ years with infrastructure automation, CI/CD or GitOps pipelines, modern scripting or programming, and technical initiative leadership; mid-level alternatives are also provided.
- Experience with Terraform or Terragrunt, Argo CD, Jenkins, or GitLab CI is required for the applicable level.
- Experience with Go or Python is preferred within the software development qualification.
- Preferred qualifications include AWS, AWS GovCloud, Kubernetes, Docker, air-gapped systems, observability platforms, federal security frameworks, and DoD 8570/8140-aligned certifications.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent military or practical engineering experience, is preferred.
