Responsibilities

  • Monitor system performance and availability, identify bottlenecks and failures, and remediate reliability issues.
  • Respond to incidents involving batch jobs, message queues, system integrations, and end-user reports using established procedures.
  • Analyze incident root causes and implement fixes to prevent recurrence.
  • Build monitoring and alerting capabilities to detect errors and develop tools that enable system self-diagnosis.
  • Collaborate with Policy Fulfilment, business stakeholders, DCM, Kyndryl, and other teams to troubleshoot and optimize services.
  • Continuously improve systems and processes using reliability and performance best practices.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
  • At least three years of application support experience involving development and operations.
  • Knowledge of software engineering and proficiency in one or more programming languages.
  • Knowledge of system administration and production-environment management.
  • Proficiency with monitoring and logging tools.
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Guidewire certification is an asset.
  • Successful candidates must complete a background check.
