Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end features from the dashboard UI through workflows that interact with microservices using Temporal
- Craft intuitive interfaces for powerful computing and infrastructure workflows in collaboration with the design team
- Build TypeScript and GraphQL APIs with strong data-modeling guarantees for internal and external users
- Write Engineering Requirement Documents covering ideas, defined tasks, implementation, and success monitoring
- Contribute to Railway open-source repositories, including its CLI and Nixpacks
- Own projects and their outcomes throughout the development lifecycle
Requirements
- Ability to autonomously lead, design, and implement product experiences from front end to back end
- Strong understanding of frontend architecture for interactive systems that fetch, mutate, and render data effectively
- Experience managing complex asynchronous backend jobs such as build or deployment pipelines
- Interest in participating in the full project development process, from research and planning through implementation and monitoring
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for expressing ideas, designs, and solutions in a mostly asynchronous environment
- Experience with Rust or a desire to learn Rust for contributions to open-source repositories
