Base Salary
$173k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead and govern complex, multi-phased MuleSoft integration projects using API-led connectivity and integration patterns.
- Define enterprise integration best practices, reference architectures, reusable assets, and API patterns.
- Advise customers on on-premise, cloud, and hybrid integration, API management, deployments, and operational standards.
- Establish DevOps models, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, alerting, and full API lifecycle management.
- Lead requirements workshops and produce architectural blueprint documents.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to client executives and internal sales and delivery teams throughout pre-sales and project delivery.
- Mentor and coach architects, engineers, and consultants on technical design and customer-facing practices.
- Identify platform gaps, provide field feedback, and influence MuleSoft product direction and roadmap.
- Drive technical decisions across multiple concurrent integration projects while balancing scope, delivery speed, and technical debt.
Requirements
- Active Secret-level security clearance is required.
- 10+ years of IT experience and 5+ years leading complex integration and solution architecture initiatives are required.
- At least 2 years of hands-on MuleSoft or similar integration experience is required.
- Expertise in high availability, scalability, SDLC, API lifecycle management, enterprise solution architecture, and API security principles is required.
- Experience architecting MuleSoft integrations and integrations with platforms such as IBM, BEA, Oracle Fusion, TIBCO, Dell Boomi, and Progress Sonic is required.
- Strong customer-facing communication, expectation management, technical workshop, and executive advisory experience is required.
- Preferred experience includes MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, API Management, Exchange, Flex Gateway, microservices, service mesh, serverless, and multi-cloud architectures.
- Preferred skills include AWS, Azure, GCP, Git, Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, networking, infrastructure, programming, and database technologies.
- Preferred certifications include CKA, CISSP, CISM, or Security+.
