Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, maintain, and integrate embedded software components for Flight Management Systems.
  • Collaborate with systems engineering, hardware, and testing teams to integrate software solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
  • Support requirements analysis and decomposition, feature definition, software development and integration, and system verification and validation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
  • Experience in embedded-systems software development and proficiency in languages such as C, C++, Ada, Python, or VB.
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, coding standards, software configuration management, and change management practices is valued.
  • Experience with avionics, Flight Management Systems, aerospace systems, or related fields is valued.
  • Must meet the stated U.S. Person or export-authorization requirements under U.S. export control laws and regulations.
