Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions for processing big data.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to envision, design, develop, and launch impactful software.
- Apply technology, data structures, algorithms, and effective design approaches to solve complex problems.
- Clarify technical requirements, estimate development timelines, and deliver high-quality code on schedule.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive guidance to team members.
- Drive improvements in software quality, customer experience, and product maintainability.
- Mentor and lead developers while fostering technical understanding.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices across the software development life cycle, including coding standards, architectures, code reviews, source control, deployments, testing, and operations.
- Knowledge of machine learning and LLM fundamentals, including transformer architecture, training and inference lifecycles, and optimization techniques.
- Preferred: 3 years of full software development life-cycle experience.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: experience developing and deploying LLMs in production on GPUs, Neuron, TPU, or other AI acceleration hardware.
