Responsibilities
- Understand requirements and create detailed design documents.
- Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain software applications using ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, C++, Windows, and SQL.
- Create unit tests and test cases, fix bugs, recreate issues, and resolve software defects.
- Analyze existing software architecture and codebases and optimize application performance.
- Diagnose and resolve production issues by analyzing logs and traces.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to triage issues in payment flows and provide QA support.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Provide knowledge transfer and mentoring to team members.
- Develop understanding of product functionality and payment processes.
- Work across different time zones as needed.
Requirements
- More than 5 years of software development and software development lifecycle experience.
- Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, Windows, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Ability to read code and understand existing functionality and complex software systems.
- Experience diagnosing and resolving production issues using logs and traces.
- Experience with multithreading.
- Experience with software development tools and version control systems such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving, logical, analytical, ownership, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
- C++ and STL experience is desirable.
- Payment knowledge, including Payplus, Gfx, ISO payments, FED payments, or SWIFT payments, is desirable.
