Responsibilities
- Develop web-based or desktop applications using frontend and backend technologies.
- Design and implement scalable services that can be shared across multiple applications.
- Build complex and scalable solutions using application platforms, databases, and cloud technologies.
- Design databases and work with stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, and debugging or analysis tools.
- Develop search and processing algorithms for applications handling large data volumes and high transaction volumes.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, full-stack engineers, data engineers, cloud engineers, and service delivery teams.
- Take ideas through user-story definition and implementation.
- Contribute to payroll-system-related applications and services when applicable.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of industry experience with significant time spent on relevant projects.
- Practical frontend and backend development experience, preferably with web applications.
- Experience with .NET Core, Node.js, or Bootstrap and with databases and cloud technologies.
- Hands-on experience with service-oriented architecture; exposure to microservices architecture and design patterns is advantageous.
- Experience with database design using MS SQL, Oracle, or MySQL; exposure to Cosmos DB or another NoSQL database is advantageous.
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, or Google Cloud and practical solution-design experience for resource optimization.
- B.Tech., B.E., M.Tech., BCA, or MCA with first-class academic performance above 60% throughout, preferably from a reputed institution.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with source-control tools such as GitHub or Subversion (SVN).
- Exposure to and practical experience with Agile methodology.
- Some exposure to payroll systems is a plus.
- Flexibility to work afternoon shifts from 1 PM to 10 PM a couple of days per week for overlap with US-based teams.
