Base Salary

$150k - $176k/yr

Responsibilities

Design and own the integration architecture for AI Agents across Checkr systems.
Build production-grade API integrations with secure authentication and automation workflows.
Ensure AI-driven operations are resilient through error handling and observability.
Identify integration gaps and lead technical solutions for reliability and scale.
Build and maintain technical foundations for AI-driven workflows.
Write high-quality JavaScript and SQL for automation logic and operational insights.
Establish engineering standards for workflow design and system observability.
Implement guardrails and validation rules for AI Agents.
Evaluate model output quality and refine prompts for improved AI performance.

7+ years in systems engineering, automation platforms, or AI-enabled operations.
Deep expertise in API design and event-driven systems.
Proven experience in building reliable automation workflows.
Strong JavaScript and/or Python expertise for backend logic.
Solid SQL experience for data transformation and analytics.
Advanced comfort with JSON and data normalization for LLM use cases.
Hands-on experience with LLM-powered agents in production.
Formal experience in prompt engineering frameworks.
Familiarity with integrating CRM and support systems.
