Base Salary
$121k - $173k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop APIs and microservices supporting BaaS onboarding and partner integrations.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to define requirements and deliver robust solutions.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and promote engineering best practices.
- Develop monitoring, alerting, and observability capabilities while supporting SLA compliance.
- Participate in incident response and root cause analysis to improve system reliability.
- Create architectural and design documentation, evaluate emerging technologies, and refactor existing code to fix defects and add functionality.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience, including at least 1 year in a technical leadership role.
- Strong experience developing secure, standards-compliant code across multiple platforms.
- Proficiency in several of C#, .NET, SQL, and related cloud platforms, libraries, and services.
- Hands-on experience with Azure native services including APIM, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Key Vault, plus container technologies and caching frameworks.
- Understanding of RESTful API design, OAuth2, OpenAPI specifications, event-driven architecture, and microservice architecture.
- Experience with observability dashboards and platforms such as Datadog and Grafana.
- Knowledge of Git, DevOps, Agile Scrum, security best practices, PCI DSS, and SOC 2.
- Preferred qualifications include fintech or embedded finance experience, partner onboarding and SLA management familiarity, and open-source or technical publication contributions.
- Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and meet the approved location requirement.
