Responsibilities
- Manage basic application deployments in Kubernetes and assist with troubleshooting.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code for provisioning tasks and configuration changes.
- Contribute to automation tools and frameworks using Golang and Python.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to enhance system reliability.
- Support the implementation of solutions for moderate complexity technical problems.
- Learn and contribute to maintaining uptime for defined services under guidance.
- Execute basic automation scripts and contribute to existing frameworks with supervision.
- Implement basic monitoring configurations and interpret common metrics.
- Participate in incident response and document findings.
- Monitor system performance and escalate issues appropriately.
- Communicate effectively in team meetings regarding status and blockers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, system administration, or related technical roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Golang or Python.
- Foundational knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Basic Linux system administration skills are required.
- Experience with Git and code review processes is necessary.
- Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn are essential.
- Demonstrated ability to solve technical problems independently.
