Member of Technical Staff - Portworx
Pure StorageResponsibilities
- Design and develop cloud-native microservices and integrate new features into Portworx products.
- Perform software design, development, unit and functional testing, code reviews, documentation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
- Debug product and performance issues in large-scale clusters using AI tooling.
- Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to take solutions from initial design through production.
- Own design and development activities, incorporating customer feedback and resolving issues found during unit testing, system testing, and customer deployments.
- Experiment with new technologies to innovate and advance solutions.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science.
- 8+ years of experience designing, developing, and testing enterprise products, with Golang preferred.
- Strong understanding of microservice architectures and cloud-native platforms.
- Experience designing and owning microservices in distributed systems that scale to thousands of nodes.
- Expert debugging skills and the ability to solve ambiguous problems at scale in public and private cloud environments.
- Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including product management and customer beta partners, on scalable production-quality software.
- Strong computer science foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Proven design sensibility and willingness to work collaboratively in an open-office environment.
