Base Salary
$159k - $305k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and execute architecture strategy for Corporate & Investment Banking post-trade functions.
- Establish current-state, target-state, and transition architectures across applications, data, integrations, cloud platforms, and emerging technologies.
- Lead hands-on solution architecture and execution for investment advisory, brokerage, wealth management, portfolio management, trading, and client servicing platforms.
- Resolve complex technology challenges and drive application rationalization, platform modernization, consolidation, and cloud transformation.
- Design and implement AI-driven, conversational AI, intelligent assistant, and agentic solutions for advisor workflows, investment research, client communications, compliance monitoring, and operational efficiency.
- Partner with risk, compliance, legal, and regulatory teams to support SEC, FINRA, and other applicable requirements.
- Advise senior leaders and promote architecture standards aligned with enterprise banking and investment technology strategies.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of architecture experience or equivalent experience, training, military experience, or education.
- At least 5 years of technology design and engineering experience supporting investment banking, brokerage, trading, post-trade, or financial-services platforms.
- At least 3 years of workflow automation and process optimization experience.
- At least 2 years of experience applying AI or generative AI frameworks to investment operations, advisor workflows, or client servicing.
- At least 1 year of experience architecting and implementing conversational AI, intelligent assistants, or agentic solutions.
- Preferred experience includes architecture leadership at a Tier-1 global financial institution and 5+ years in wealth management, brokerage, investment banking, capital markets, or consumer investment services.
- Knowledge of investment products, trading and post-trade platforms, investment regulations, and investor protection requirements.
- Experience with enterprise AI platforms, vector databases, knowledge graphs, semantic search, agent frameworks, intelligent workflow automation, and modern engineering toolchains.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical, executive communication, influencing, and complex financial-data interpretation skills.
