Base Salary

$159k - $305k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy, architecture, and delivery of enterprise-scale AI, cloud, and modernization initiatives.
  • Design, build, prototype, review, and scale reusable AI architectures, platforms, frameworks, and production capabilities.
  • Translate business objectives, customer needs, and operational challenges into scalable engineering solutions and measurable outcomes.
  • Partner with executives, product leaders, and engineering teams to define AI roadmaps, success metrics, priorities, risks, and implementation strategies.
  • Develop or deploy AI-powered tools, chatbots, LLM-based automation, and agentic workflows while addressing AI risks and observability needs.
  • Lead executive ideation and AI opportunity discovery sessions, prioritizing high-value use cases and adoption strategies.
  • Serve as the senior technical authority for critical platform, data, AI, architecture, and modernization decisions.
  • Influence cross-functional initiatives, mentor senior technical talent, establish engineering standards, and drive enterprise adoption of emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • 7+ years of senior engineering experience, including architecture and hands-on delivery of large-scale platforms and systems.
  • 4+ years of experience developing or deploying AI-powered tools, chatbots, LLM-based automation, or agentic workflows, including AI risk, observability, and stakeholder communication knowledge.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with cloud architectures including Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, AWS, and internal platforms such as Tachyon.
  • 3+ years of experience operating with both keyboard-level technical depth and executive-level technical storytelling.
  • Preferred experience leading technology strategy and delivery in large, complex enterprises and cloud-native environments.
  • Preferred experience evaluating, prototyping, and scaling generative and agentic AI while balancing risk, governance, and responsible AI principles.
  • Preferred experience building or scaling enterprise AI platforms, developer frameworks, reusable services, or shared capabilities.
  • Preferred experience delivering solutions in highly regulated industries with security, compliance, audit, and risk-management requirements.
  • Ability to influence executives and senior technical talent, define business-value metrics and ROI, navigate complex enterprise environments, and drive cross-functional change.
  • Ability to work across global teams and travel as needed.
