Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain distributed, scalable, high-performance containerized applications.
- Ensure high-quality software design and code.
- Build QA automation frameworks and support application stability.
- Monitor and resolve production issues while ensuring adherence to engineering SLAs.
- Troubleshoot live issues with support, SRE, and other teams and provide workarounds or quick fixes.
- Deliver production hot fixes and patches.
- Develop microservices deployed as containers.
Requirements
- Require 2–5 years of hands-on experience designing and developing enterprise-class solutions using Java.
- Prefer experience with Shell and Python.
- Require strong application development and automation experience, including QA automation.
- Require understanding of relational databases such as Oracle and NoSQL databases, preferably Cassandra.
- Require experience with Elasticsearch and caching technologies such as Redis or Memcached.
- Require understanding of data structures, algorithms, and application design.
- Require experience developing web applications using REST APIs.
- Require strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to understand customer issues.
- Require the ability to develop innovative workarounds or solutions for customer problems.
- Require a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prefer experience in FIM, container security, and compliance.
- Prefer experience with Kafka event streaming, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
