Base Salary

$176k - $260k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of agentic AI and large language model-powered use cases from problem framing and technical design through production deployment and monitoring.
  • Own reusable platform services and components that enable teams to build, evaluate, and operate AI agents safely at scale.
  • Set engineering standards through hands-on system design, code review, mentorship, and improvements to reliability, maintainability, and developer experience.
  • Build and operate evaluation, testing, tracing, metrics, logging, and analytics capabilities to improve solution quality.
  • Implement safety, governance, access-control, and audit-ready operational practices for enterprise AI systems.
  • Partner with product managers and stakeholders on roadmaps, success metrics, prioritization, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Coordinate with engineering, data, security, and risk partners to deliver secure, stable, and scalable solutions.
  • Create technical documentation, reference implementations, and enablement content.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in applied artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts.
  • At least 5 years of applied experience.
  • Advanced Python proficiency and strong software engineering fundamentals, including testing, design patterns, version control, and code review.
  • Hands-on experience building, evaluating, and deploying machine learning or large language model-enabled systems in production.
  • Experience with prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, evaluation methods, and quality measurement.
  • Experience designing and operating reliable services, including incident response readiness, performance tuning, and operational stability for data-intensive systems.
  • Ability to lead technical decisions and deliver outcomes amid ambiguity while balancing speed, risk, and maintainability.
  • Strong communication skills for explaining technical trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Preferred experience with LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Google ADK, custom agent orchestration, LLM evaluation tooling, Docker, Kubernetes, vector databases, embedding pipelines, graph-based memory, Amazon Web Services, Databricks, and enterprise AI governance.
