Base Salary
$176k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance and direction to technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
- Develop, review, debug, and maintain secure, high-quality production code in Java.
- Drive adoption, governance, and validation standards for AI-assisted engineering practices.
- Own end-to-end architecture and solutioning for Trust & Security data and integration capabilities.
- Design and implement reliable, scalable Kafka streaming solutions with data contracts and schema governance.
- Publish streaming and batch data to lake and analytical platforms with observability, quality checks, lineage, metadata, and access controls.
- Architect Cassandra and Oracle data stores and design REST and GraphQL service interfaces and integrations.
- Establish roadmaps, migration paths, engineering standards, reuse patterns, and operational readiness across teams.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced experience with one or more of Java, Kafka, Spark, and Flink.
- Production experience combining data architecture and solution engineering at large scale.
- Experience with Kafka, lake or data-platform publishing, Cassandra, Oracle, and Java services, pipelines, and streaming or processing components.
- Experience designing schema registries, data contracts, and governance practices.
- Experience building APIs and integrations with REST and GraphQL.
- Strong SDLC discipline, including CI/CD, testing strategy, code review, production support, and observability.
- Ability to work independently, solve problems, learn quickly, and lead enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development practices.
- Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security controls.
- Preferred experience in Trust & Security domains, stream processing, real-time enrichment and correlation, AI/ML concepts, feature stores, AWS ecosystems, platform modernization, graph databases, and TigerGraph.
- Track record of setting engineering standards and driving reuse across teams without direct people management.
