Base Salary

$112k - $154k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Reverse engineer complex software and firmware targets across Windows/Linux binaries, embedded systems, nontraditional architectures, and operating systems.
  • Develop and apply automated reverse-engineering, binary-analysis, emulation, and dynamic-analysis tools.
  • Characterize target-system protocols, interfaces, functionality, code flow, and data flow.
  • Research vulnerabilities and perform exploit, payload, implant, patch, and mitigation development.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to develop cybersecurity solutions for national-security problems.
  • Document, demonstrate, and present technical research.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship required by the U.S. Government.
  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with binary analysis of software or firmware and disassembly tools such as IDA Pro, Binary Ninja, or Ghidra.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages, including C, C++, or Python.
  • Proficiency in one or more assembly languages, including x86 or ARM.
  • Understanding of reverse-engineering fundamentals such as memory layout and calling conventions.
  • Preferred experience includes vulnerability research, exploit weaponization, embedded systems and firmware analysis, binary emulation, custom emulation tools, disassembler/decompiler development, protocol analysis, anti-reverse-engineering techniques, and intrusion-detection or anti-malware systems.
