Responsibilities
- Lead the design, build, and operation of API and full-stack solutions for Stays and Packages.
- Architect scalable and resilient systems for booking flows and checkout journeys.
- Define technical strategies for Scala-based distributed systems.
- Mentor senior engineers and conduct design reviews to elevate engineering standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure robust foundational logic.
Requirements
- Deep experience in distributed system development, particularly in Scala.
- Strong product thinking with a focus on customer experience.
- Ability to navigate complex codebases and implement elegant abstractions.
- Prioritize modular systems that support multiple partners with minimal intervention.
