Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement robotic control algorithms using reinforcement learning, imitation learning, and vision-language-action methods.
- Conduct research in motion planning, manipulation, and autonomous robotic decision-making.
- Prototype and validate algorithms in simulated and real-world robotic environments.
- Integrate AI-driven controls into next-generation robotic products with cross-functional teams.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers and researchers and contribute to research projects or engineering teams.
- Publish findings in conferences and journals and contribute to patents and intellectual property.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, robotics, artificial intelligence, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of hands-on robotics research experience focused on controls using reinforcement learning, imitation learning, or related techniques.
- Strong proficiency in Python and C++.
- Experience developing and deploying algorithms in real-world robotic systems.
- Expertise with Linux distributions, shell scripting, Docker, containerization, cloud services, and model deployment.
- Preferred experience with ROS, NVIDIA Omniverse ISAAC Sim, MuJoCo, Gazebo, Gymnasium, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
- Knowledge of multi-agent systems, sensor fusion, computer vision, or natural language processing in robotics contexts.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, and independent-working abilities.
