Responsibilities
- Partner with logistics teams to understand workflows and translate customer needs into system and product designs.
- Build AI-powered full-stack tools using Node.js and TypeScript in production environments.
- Integrate with ERP systems, transport management systems, SFTP, event queues, and external enterprise ecosystems.
- Construct reliable data pipelines for messy, unstructured data from multiple sources.
- Contribute to product direction and technical decisions with the founding engineering team.
- Own outcomes from system design through deployment and iteration.
- Work directly with end-users and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and validate solutions.
- Travel regularly to customer sites across Europe and Asia.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience building full-stack applications or backend systems in production environments.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js; React or another modern frontend framework is a plus.
- Experience designing and integrating with enterprise systems such as ERP systems, transport management systems, and external APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Terraform, GCP, or AWS.
- Experience building and scaling backend infrastructure and handling data pipelines from disparate sources.
- Ability and willingness to work hybrid from Berlin and travel regularly to customer sites in Europe and Asia.
- Familiarity with GenAI or LLM architectures, including RAG, evaluations, or orchestration, is a bonus.
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations is a plus.
- Ability to work with high autonomy in an early-stage environment and iterate quickly.
