Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, maintain, and enhance C++ and Java applications and services.
  • Own key components, services, or subsystems while ensuring code quality, test coverage, documentation, and operational readiness.
  • Translate functional and non-functional requirements into technical designs aligned with architectural principles and engineering standards.
  • Support the full lifecycle of estimation, design, development, testing, release, and production support.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex development, QA, and production issues, including performance and concurrency problems.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, technical forums, and continuous engineering improvement.
  • Mentor junior engineers in C++ and Java best practices and design patterns.
  • Collaborate with product owners, business partners, senior engineers, architects, and delivery teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong hands-on software engineering experience in C++ and Java delivering medium-to-large-scale systems.
  • Industry experience at a senior engineer or technical-lead-equivalent level.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, concurrency, memory management, and system integration.
  • Experience building and supporting distributed systems, including messaging, APIs, and inter-service communication.
  • Familiarity with Linux environments, build tools, version control systems, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Experience with CI/CD, performance tuning, observability, and the software development lifecycle.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms and open-source technologies integrated into enterprise systems.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to influence technical outcomes without formal authority.
