Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain middle-layer services using JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Java, and/or C#/.NET.
- Build and support APIs and web services integrating web, mobile, and backend platforms.
- Collaborate with PMO, development, product, business, operations, systems engineering, infrastructure, network, and architecture teams.
- Draft and review architectural diagrams, technical specifications, business requirements, and design documents.
- Develop scalable, reliable, and high-performing enterprise integration solutions.
- Work with Java, C++, Linux, Unix, open-source platforms, and service-oriented architecture environments.
- Support mobile, digital, and customer-facing platform integrations.
- Review technical designs, contribute to architectural decisions, and help introduce or modernize technologies.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to team technical growth and engineering best practices.
- Develop an understanding of financial products, services, workflows, and organizational structures to recommend effective solutions.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, code architecture, CI/CD, and SOA.
- Hands-on experience with Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Integration, TypeScript, Node.js, Kafka, and ActiveMQ.
- Experience with J2EE, Servlets, Tomcat, and Maven-based development.
- Strong experience developing APIs and web services using REST, SOAP, and JSON.
- Proficiency with Oracle, DB2, and/or Sybase databases.
- Demonstrated ability to develop scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend and integration solutions.
- Experience with complex enterprise systems, middleware environments, and mobile or digital platform integrations.
- Experience mentoring and guiding other developers and reviewing technical designs.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate in a cross-functional enterprise technology environment.
- Familiarity with financial products, services, workflows, or financial-services technology environments.
- Preferred experience with C#/.NET, C++, Linux, Unix, open-source platforms, enterprise messaging, event-driven architecture, distributed systems, and financial-services domains.
