Base Salary
$214k - $245k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build the first version of an AI-native platform for go-to-market teams, including agentic orchestration, automation, and revenue-team interfaces.
- Embed with revenue teams to understand their workflows and ship systems that materially improve how the work is performed.
- Own the platform’s architecture, technical direction, tooling choices, and engineering patterns.
- Move prototypes into production quickly and iterate as AI capabilities evolve.
- Measure success by business outcomes and the value unlocked for revenue teams.
- Partner with security and infrastructure teams to ensure the platform is sound and supportable.
- Document technical decisions and tradeoffs for future engineers.
Requirements
- Approximately 8 years of staff-level engineering experience or comparable depth, with a history of owning systems end to end.
- Experience building greenfield systems, early-stage products, or internal platforms from zero to one.
- Production experience building with LLMs and AI APIs, including prompt design, output evaluation, and reliability iteration.
- Fluency with AI-assisted development tools.
- Strong technical judgment, adaptability, and ability to refactor as requirements change.
- Interest in and curiosity about revenue and operations workflows.
- Ability to work independently amid ambiguity and bring stakeholders along.
- Clear communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Preferred: familiarity with CRM and revenue data models such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Preferred: experience as an early or founding startup engineer or builder of an internal tooling function.
- Preferred: familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases, embedding-based search, marketplaces, high-growth environments, or Snowflake.
- The company is language agnostic; current prototypes use React, TypeScript, and Python.
