Responsibilities
- Support the design and maintenance of scalable data ingestion and processing pipelines.
- Deploy and maintain software using GCP services including Pub/Sub, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage.
- Collaborate with BI, infrastructure, and product teams to understand data requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Help build and document APIs for internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to optimize schemas and write efficient queries.
- Contribute to reliable billing infrastructure in an event-driven environment.
- Participate in testing, monitoring, logging, code reviews, and agile ceremonies.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of programming language development experience, including internships or intensive projects.
- Academic or professional exposure to SQL, including query writing and basic schema design.
- Familiarity with Git and basic CI/CD concepts.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and microservice communication.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred: Python or Shell, exposure to GCP, AWS, or Azure, Docker, Airflow, Kafka, Spark, Terraform, or Terragrunt.
- Interest in Open Banking and the FinTech landscape is preferred.
