Responsibilities
- Help solution providers and practice leads develop technical strategies for selling offerings on Snowflake.
- Develop and launch differentiated joint solution offerings with VAR, reseller, and system integrator partners.
- Serve as a key technical resource throughout the sales cycle and help partners position and sell Snowflake solutions.
- Deliver presentations to technologists and C-level stakeholders.
- Create technical champions within partner accounts to drive deals and achieve technical wins.
- Provide upskilling workshops for partner solution architects on Snowflake Data Platform capabilities.
- Manage partner relationships, programs, goals, metrics, and progress in collaboration with sales and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of industry experience in partnership or alliances technical pre-sales within the EMEA VAR and reseller ecosystem, focused on business solutions and outcomes.
- Strong business acumen, architectural expertise, and ability to address business topics of varying complexity and priority.
- Experience developing and deploying data pipelines with different data platforms; SQL and PySpark are required.
- Proficiency with at least one of Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions and cloud integration technologies such as Fivetran, Azure Data Factory, or AWS Glue.
- Experience with Spark, Scala, Kafka, or Apache NiFi is a plus.
- Experience developing and deploying machine learning models across the full data science lifecycle is a plus.
- Experience working with international cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and product managers.
- MS or PhD in Computer Science or a related major, or proven professional experience in data and AI technical roles.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
