Responsibilities
- Define target architecture for agentic services and Gen AI platform capabilities.
- Write and review code, evaluate designs, and prototype technical approaches.
- Establish standards for integrating agentic frameworks into production services.
- Guide decisions involving data flow, service boundaries, security posture, reliability, cost efficiency, latency, and operational support.
- Partner with AI Governance, product, and engineering teams on explainability, observability, prevention, auditability, and responsible AI capabilities.
- Serve as a technical escalation partner for platform-level risks and architecture decisions.
Requirements
- Experience architecting distributed, cloud-native systems in production environments.
- Hands-on experience writing and reviewing code in a technical architecture or engineering role.
- Experience with AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code, AWS Kiro, or OpenAI Codex.
- Experience with Python and ability to evaluate front-end architecture using Angular or comparable JavaScript frameworks.
- Working knowledge of AWS compute, serverless, container orchestration, and managed ML/AI services.
- Exposure to agentic frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph.
- Experience setting technical direction across engineering teams or complex technical initiatives.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with governance, auditability, explainability, reliability, cost efficiency, latency, security, data flows, service boundaries, responsible AI, LLM provider APIs, tool-use protocols, and production Gen AI or machine learning capabilities.
