Base Salary
$86k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop embedded, real-time control software for advanced tactical radio and communication systems.
- Support the full software development lifecycle, including design, documentation, implementation, automated testing, sustainment, and defect resolution.
- Design and evaluate hardware/software interfaces, system requirements, reliability, performance, and compliance with program requirements.
- Develop test procedures, analyze results using modeling and test tools, and perform unit, integration, and test automation activities.
- Participate in peer reviews, code reviews, cross-functional engineering collaboration, and technical documentation.
- Address security findings and implement improvements for fielded communication systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of related experience, or a graduate degree with 0 to 2 years of related experience, or 6 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
- Active Secret or TS-SCI clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
- Experience with one or more of Python, Java, C, C++, and TypeScript.
- Experience programming in Unix/Linux environments, including shell scripting.
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, test automation, debugging, design concepts, and code reviews.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline development, Docker deployments, FPGA systems, and software interfacing with hardware is preferred.
