Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain custom modules and extensions in SAP Commerce Cloud using Java and Spring Framework.
- Own core eCommerce functionality including catalog, pricing, cart, checkout, and order management.
- Customize B2B and B2C accelerators and integrate SAP Commerce Cloud with SAP ERP, S/4HANA, SAP CPI, payment gateways, PIM, and OMS systems.
- Design APIs and data flows for real-time and batch integrations.
- Participate in software design, implementation, testing, deployment, code reviews, and enterprise architecture initiatives.
- Write unit, integration, and performance tests and address production issues, bottlenecks, and performance challenges.
- Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, UX designers, and DevOps teams and participate in development planning meetings.
- Perform root-cause analysis and contribute to continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional Java development experience, including at least 3 years of SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) development.
- Strong knowledge of SAP Commerce architecture, data modeling, extension mechanisms, B2B/B2C accelerators, and OCC APIs.
- Proficiency with Spring Framework, RESTful services, and SOLR.
- Familiarity with cloud deployments and CI/CD tools.
- Working knowledge of SAP integrations and commerce tools such as SmartEdit, Backoffice, and Impex.
- Preferred SAP Certified Development Specialist – SAP Commerce Cloud certification.
- Preferred experience with headless commerce, Spartacus or React, performance tuning, caching strategies, Agile and DevOps environments, and GDPR or PCI-DSS compliance.
