Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain authentication and authorization components for multiple platforms, primarily using .NET.
- Collaborate with leadership, product managers, service owners, and platform teams.
- Support service owners with seamless integration and operational excellence.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and improvements to authentication libraries.
- Use quantitative and qualitative insights to make data-driven decisions.
- Apply AI-assisted development practices to improve engineering velocity and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and technical engineering experience coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with distributed services.
- Understanding of authentication and authorization protocols, including OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
- Experience with .NET.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Experience with SDKs and high-scale services is preferred.
- Experience with Rust, Java, Golang, Python, or Node.js is a plus.
Benefits
- Base pay in Ireland is listed at €77,400.00–€130,000.00 per year; certain roles may also be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
- The position is open for a minimum of five days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until filled.
- The role requires Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background checks upon hire or transfer and every two years thereafter.
