Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Own end-to-end delivery of complex platform and integration features.
- Improve platform resilience, performance, observability, and component communication.
- Implement secure coding practices for data exchange and multi-tenant SaaS compliance.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, and senior leadership to scope requirements and deliver work predictably.
- Write automated tests, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience in a product-driven SaaS environment.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful API development, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and microservices architecture.
- Extensive experience with relational databases, schema design, and complex SQL query optimization using PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Experience with AWS or another major cloud provider, Docker, and Kubernetes/EKS.
- Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code principles.
- Knowledge of SFTP, HTTPS, AS2, SSL/TLS, encryption, and secure communication standards.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, including experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
