Base Salary
$160k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical expert on Snowflake for AI/ML workloads and advise customers on best practices.
- Understand customer AI/ML use cases and requirements and architect Snowflake-centric solutions for Services Delivery.
- Design, build, and deploy AI/ML pipelines using Snowflake features and its ecosystem.
- Build hands-on proofs of concept using SQL, Python, and Cortex AI features.
- Provide technical leadership, oversight, guidance on customer-specific challenges, and knowledge transfer to enable customers.
- Maintain knowledge of competitive and complementary AI/ML technologies and vendors and position Snowflake accordingly.
- Support the development of expertise among Services Delivery team members.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake products and marketing.
- Follow Snowflake confidentiality and security standards and protect customer information.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience working with customers in a pre-sales or post-sales technical role.
- Strong presentation skills for technical and executive audiences, including whiteboarding, presentations, and demos.
- Thorough understanding of generative AI and agent lifecycles, including document ingestion, vector embeddings, LLM selection and optimization, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Thorough understanding of the machine learning lifecycle, including feature engineering, model development, deployment, and management.
- Strong understanding of AI/MLOps and technologies for deploying and monitoring models and agents.
- Experience with at least one public cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with at least one AI/ML platform such as AWS SageMaker, Databricks, GCP Vertex AI, Azure ML, Dataiku, or DataRobot.
- Hands-on scripting experience with SQL and at least one of Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with libraries such as Pandas, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, LangChain, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex.
- University degree in data science, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Databricks or Apache Spark is a bonus.
- Experience implementing data pipelines using ETL tools, enterprise software success, and vertical expertise are bonus qualifications.
