Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery, demonstrations, validation, solution design, proofs of concept and proofs of value for customers.
- Design and run workshops and contribute to tenders, audits, and value stream assessments.
- Partner with Account Executives and regional sales teams across Italy on account strategies supporting acquisition and expansion.
- Build trusted relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders and guide them through GitLab-driven transformation.
- Advise customers on software development, continuous integration, continuous deployment, security, and cloud practices.
- Share customer feedback, use cases, and competitive insights with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.
- Create reusable technical examples, best-practice guidance, and customer and partner collateral.
Requirements
- Experience in customer-facing technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar solution design and evaluation roles.
- Proficiency with the end-to-end software development lifecycle and modern DevSecOps practices.
- Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable source control, continuous integration, continuous deployment, and collaboration platforms.
- Practical knowledge of cloud computing concepts and related technologies.
- Experience leading technical evaluations, proofs of concept or value, workshops, tenders, audits, or value stream assessments.
- Strong technical communication and presentation skills for technical and business decision-makers.
- Ability to build trusted relationships, listen empathetically, and advocate for customers internally.
- Motivation to continuously develop technical and GitLab platform expertise.
- Fluency in Arabic.
