Responsibilities
- Collaborate with go-to-market leadership and account teams to design and execute engagement strategies across the assigned territory.
- Act as a trusted Solutions Architect and product champion who builds technical credibility and drives Lakebase adoption.
- Develop and deliver workshops, presentations, demos, and customer-facing collateral to increase technical knowledge and support adoption.
- Translate field-derived, data-driven insights into strategic product roadmap recommendations for Product and Engineering teams.
- Serve as the tier-3 escalation point for complex technical challenges in mission-critical customer environments.
- Partner with Account Executives to devise and implement account strategies for the Lakebase product line.
Requirements
- 10+ years of transactional database (OLTP) experience across engineering, product development, administration, and pre-sales, including client-facing solution delivery.
- 6+ years of customer-facing, pre-sales, or consulting experience influencing technical executives and driving data strategy and product adoption.
- Experience architecting transactional data solutions across Big Data, Lakehouse, and AI ecosystems, including disaster recovery, high availability, backup and recovery, scale-out, identity and security management, and migrations.
- Experience co-planning large territories with Account Executives and collaborating across go-to-market and R&D teams.
- Experience working with Global System Integrators and third-party consulting organizations.
- Proficiency in programming, debugging, and problem-solving with SQL and Python.
- Hands-on experience building solutions in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Broad experience in at least two of data engineering, data warehousing, AI, ML, governance, transactional systems, application development, and streaming.
- Undergraduate degree or higher in a technical field such as Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
- Track record of driving complex projects to completion in fast-paced, customer-facing environments.
