Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and implement complex high-throughput components for the core ad exchange platform.
- Write optimized, highly concurrent Go or Java code and own system performance.
- Mentor mid-level and junior engineers, conduct pull request reviews, and establish engineering standards.
- Own critical services end to end from system design and development through CI/CD deployment and production monitoring.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical architecture with engineering and product stakeholders.
- Identify bottlenecks, optimize infrastructure usage, and lead complex incident resolutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience focused on distributed backend systems.
- Advanced expertise in Go or Java, including concurrency, memory management, and performance profiling.
- Proven experience architecting and scaling high-throughput, low-latency applications.
- Hands-on experience with GCP or AWS and large-scale Kubernetes and Docker environments.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Terraform, Grafana, and ELK.
- Practical experience using and advocating for Claude Code and OpenAI Codex for agentic-assisted development.
- Ad-tech, fintech, high-frequency trading, or other tens-of-thousands-of-requests-per-second domain experience is a bonus.
