Responsibilities
- Work directly with key customers to understand their technology and provide suitable solutions.
- Develop proof-of-concept demonstrations and solutions using NVIDIA and open-source LLM technology.
- Evaluate and benchmark AI systems across LLMs, VLMs, embedding models, retrieval systems, and agentic pipelines.
- Drive adoption of NVIDIA open-source evaluation tools, including NeMo, and support standardized robustness measurement methodologies.
- Analyze system failures and develop mitigation strategies involving model selection, retrieval optimization, and model or embedding fine-tuning.
- Partner with engineering, product, sales, business development, and marketing teams on customer solutions and product feedback.
- Build industry expertise and contribute to integrating NVIDIA technology into enterprise computing architectures.
Requirements
- MS, PhD, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or another engineering field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience building and evaluating deep neural networks.
- Academic or industry experience in machine learning, deep learning, or data science, preferably deep learning.
- Knowledge of current LLMs or VLMs and retrieval systems.
- Understanding of DNN evaluation libraries and tools such as Eval Harness and NVIDIA Evaluation Microservice, plus agentic pipeline evaluation.
- Ability to understand, extend, and create modern evaluation benchmarks.
- Excellent English verbal, written, communication, and technical presentation skills.
- Preferred experience evaluating model memorization and security risks from hidden instructions.
- Preferred experience using evaluation tools with large models at scale, large-scale distributed training, and reinforcement learning evaluation.
