Responsibilities
- Define, design, and implement multi-tier distributed software applications.
- Estimate engineering effort, plan implementation, and roll out changes addressing functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, and development goals.
- Independently design, code, and test major features while collaborating on complex changes.
- Collaborate with software development, QA, project and release management, and build and release teams.
- Provide on-call production support for payment platform applications.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 3 years of video games industry experience supporting title development, release, or live operations.
- Programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
