Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using C# and .NET Core/Framework.
- Build and maintain versioned RESTful APIs with pagination, error handling, documentation, and secure authentication and authorization.
- Develop middleware and integration components connecting internal services with external systems using synchronous and asynchronous communication patterns.
- Implement resiliency, logging, tracing, and monitoring for integration solutions.
- Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and maintain software quality.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement performance and reliability improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements, estimate work, and deliver functionality within Agile sprints.
- Maintain technical documentation for APIs, integrations, configurations, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience developing applications with C# and .NET Core/Framework.
- Strong server-side development experience and hands-on experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs.
- Experience developing middleware and integration solutions.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code and troubleshoot problems effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without current or future employer sponsorship.
- Experience with relational databases is helpful.
- Familiarity with MongoDB and knowledge of Redis are helpful.
