Responsibilities
- Design, build, and evolve a high-performance LLM gateway and supporting services.
- Develop across Go backend services, Python-based ML/AI utilities, and distributed data infrastructure.
- Make architectural decisions balancing scalability, speed, and quality.
- Own infrastructure concerns including Kubernetes deployments, caching strategies, and database selection.
- Collaborate with founders on the technical roadmap and evolution of the technology stack.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend development experience and strong proficiency in Go.
- Deep understanding of concurrency and practical experience with concurrent programming patterns.
- Experience designing and maintaining microservices architectures and API gateways.
- Familiarity with SQL and distributed databases and caching solutions.
- Ability to design pragmatic and scalable architectures appropriate to the product stage.
- Self-starter comfortable independently learning technologies in a fast-moving startup environment.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom without visa sponsorship.
