Base Salary
$79k - $131k/yr
Responsibilities
- Research, design, develop, code, unit test, and debug software components within a specific functional area or product line.
- Write and review detailed specifications for moderately complex system components.
- Translate product requirements into software designs in collaboration with development team members.
- Implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews.
- Interface with technical personnel and stakeholders to finalize requirements and resolve technical issues.
- Complete moderately complex bug fixes and keep abreast of new technology developments.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience.
- BS in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency with data manipulation languages, data modeling principles, complex data models, and data storage subsystems.
- Proficiency in development technologies including Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, UNIX, and .NET.
- Familiarity with code coverage and test-driven development.
- Ability to write and review specifications, collaborate with internal and external technology resources, and work in Agile and Waterfall development environments.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
