Responsibilities

  • Architect and design complex integrations using Prismatic in full-code environments.
  • Own the design, scaling, and reliability improvements of the customer-facing API.
  • Lead technical discovery and delivery for complex integration projects.
  • Write, review, and improve scalable, maintainable, high-performance software.
  • Mentor L1 and L2 engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance.
  • Establish integration standards and help raise the engineering quality bar.
  • Collaborate with product, support, and customer success teams to translate customer workflows into technical solutions.
  • Participate in technical interviews and hiring decisions.
  • Identify and resolve engineering risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Use AI tools and workflows pragmatically to accelerate work with sound judgment.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of integration software development experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading non-trivial projects from design through delivery.
  • Expertise with Prismatic, Node.js, TypeScript, and API design.
  • Strong experience building, optimizing, and scaling integrations.
  • Deep understanding of scalable integrations, software design patterns, cloud-based technologies, and web technologies.
  • Experience mentoring other engineers.
  • Strong communication, troubleshooting, organization, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code is preferred.
  • Experience in the SaaS industry is preferred.
  • PHP and SQL experience is preferred.
  • Experience working directly with customers or customer-facing teams is preferred.
  • Proximity to the Charlotte, North Carolina metro area is preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Fluency with AI tools and workflows, applying them pragmatically while exercising sound judgment.
