Responsibilities
- Maintain, enhance, and scale automated testing frameworks.
- Use Rust and Python test environments to identify and mitigate P99.9+ latency outliers.
- Manage containerized Docker simulation models and HMI performance testing environments.
- Execute and refine HIL API integration test suites for grid-forming applications and integrated system performance.
- Support live remote commissioning by troubleshooting real-time production-site integration issues.
- Lead adoption and enforcement of Scaled Agile Framework product strategy and process practices across engineering teams.
- Lead technical workshops, mentor junior QA and systems engineers, and maintain process documentation.
- Improve test coverage, reliability, and CI/CD pipeline efficiency.
Requirements
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field plus 5+ years of relevant experience, or an M.S. degree plus 3+ years of equivalent industry experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python or a similar object-oriented scripting language for test automation and system simulation.
- Experience contributing to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, Git version control, and Linux/Bash environments.
- Ability to write technical documentation, lead cross-functional workshops, and drive issue resolution.
- Preferred qualifications include SAFe certification or proven experience implementing SAFe strategies.
- Preferred experience includes Rust, HIL testing, API validation, HMI/SCADA performance validation, Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT, BESS control algorithms, grid-forming inverters, power-systems analysis, Docker, MATLAB/Simulink, and Wireshark.
