Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives that improve or add functionality to Funding Circle’s mobile applications.
- Implement business functionality with React Native for iOS and Android.
- Collaborate with agile cross-functional teams and technology guilds.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and team collaboration.
- Mentor mobile colleagues and help train builders across the company in advanced AI system creation.
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- QA features for bugs, usability issues, and performance concerns.
- Support app releases and build safe, maintainable automated and AI-powered systems.
Requirements
- Commercial experience with React.js, React Native, and the associated ecosystem.
- Strong experience with automated mobile testing, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Good JavaScript knowledge, ideally including TypeScript.
- Experience with continuous delivery, build pipelines, and App Store and Play Store releases.
- Familiarity with Firebase, Gradle, Xcode, and other native build tools.
- Ability to work with REST APIs and third-party services and libraries.
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles and code version control.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to architect custom AI solutions and smart automated systems that are safe, maintainable, and aligned with long-term goals.
