Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance backend applications using Node.js.
- Design backend systems, databases, APIs, and services to meet business and performance requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, system architectures, and integration points.
- Create technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and design documents.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
- Analyze issues and help implement performance optimizations to improve responsiveness and throughput.
- Deliver complex systems on time and on budget.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience designing and developing large-scale web applications using Node.js or Java.
- Expert knowledge of Node.js and its ecosystem.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Solid understanding of database design and SQL.
- Strong knowledge of web services and API development.
- Experience designing architectures, leading development teams, collaborating with stakeholders, and implementing performance optimizations.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, communication, and collaboration skills.
