Responsibilities
- Lead technical streams for Guidewire implementation projects, particularly Guidewire BillingCenter configuration.
- Plan and monitor team deliverables, provide regular status reports, and coordinate with onsite coordinators.
- Mentor project resources and support training, performance management, teamwork, and organization-wide people initiatives.
- Interface with customer representatives and travel to customer locations as needed.
- Apply enterprise system integration and software development best practices in insurance-sector projects.
Requirements
- BE, BTech, or MCA degree with 3 to 7 years of industry experience.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with Guidewire BillingCenter Configuration and BillingCenter concepts including delinquency, disbursements, collections, write-offs, transfer policy, and new payment batches.
- Experience with Property & Casualty Insurance and enterprise system integration.
- Knowledge of Java 5+, JEE, XML, Web Services using Axis 2, SQL, ANT, PL/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, and enterprise messaging systems.
- Strong knowledge of Tomcat and at least one of WebSphere or WebLogic.
- Strong leadership, business communication, client-facing, and team-management skills.
- Guidewire implementations or upgrades, Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration, and additional insurance-domain experience are preferred.
