Responsibilities
- Develop code, documentation, software specifications, designs, and bug fixes for difficult software projects.
- Troubleshoot complex software problems and perform software tests on code and enhancements.
- Interface with internal customers for requirements analysis and scheduling.
- Interface with external customers regarding software issues.
- Compile data for regularly scheduled or special reports, analyses, and statements.
- Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and potentially lead small projects.
Requirements
- Demonstrated conceptual and practical expertise in the software discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines.
- Knowledge of best practices and how the software area integrates with other areas.
- Ability to solve complex problems using judgment and analysis of multiple information sources.
- Ability to explain difficult or sensitive information and build consensus.
