Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end integration architecture, runtime topology, environment strategy, and deployment models across multiple projects and teams.
- Define integration standards, reusable frameworks, design patterns, reference architectures, governance, and code review practices.
- Architect, oversee, and provide hands-on guidance for Boomi integrations between enterprise and third-party systems.
- Define API strategy, lifecycle standards, versioning, authentication, security, data transformation, validation, monitoring, alerting, and error-handling approaches.
- Lead current-state assessments, target-state designs, migration roadmaps, production issue root-cause analysis, performance planning, and platform capacity planning.
- Partner with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, QA teams, project managers, and senior client stakeholders to develop solution designs and estimates.
- Mentor developers, chair design and architecture reviews, provide technical direction, and own architecture documentation and integration catalogs.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in enterprise application integration and 5+ years of hands-on Boomi design and development experience.
- Proven experience architecting and delivering large-scale, multi-system Boomi programs and owning integration architecture across multiple workstreams.
- Advanced English communication, strong stakeholder-management skills, consulting or client-facing experience, and experience presenting to IT leadership.
- Deep expertise in Boomi Integration, APIM, DataHub or Master Data Hub, Flow, EDI, Event Streams, and AgentStudio.
- Experience with REST, SOAP, webhooks, event-driven architectures, API lifecycle management, OAuth 2.0, JWT, Basic Authentication, SAML, and API Gateway concepts.
- Experience integrating NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Workday, Salesforce, Oracle ERP or HCM, and ServiceNow.
- Experience with XML, JSON, CSV, flat files, XSLT, data transformation, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, JMS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, and AWS SQS or SNS.
- Experience with EDI transaction processing, including ANSI X12 and EDIFACT, plus hybrid cloud and on-premise integration environments.
- Experience with deployment management, production support, incident management, monitoring, troubleshooting, performance optimization, CI/CD, DevOps practices, and SLA-driven support models.
- Experience with Git, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, AWS, Azure, or GCP, including networking, identity, and hosting considerations.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Boomi Architect, Boomi Professional Developer, Boomi Professional Integration Developer, Boomi API Management, or Boomi Master Data Hub certifications are required or strongly preferred; MuleSoft, TOGAF, or other iPaaS and architecture certifications are a plus.
