Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end Boomi integration architecture, including runtime topology, environment strategy, deployment models, and platform governance.
- Establish integration standards, reusable frameworks, design patterns, reference architectures, and API lifecycle policies across delivery teams.
- Oversee the design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support of enterprise integrations, providing hands-on technical guidance.
- Architect integrations among NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Workday, Salesforce, Oracle ERP/HCM, ServiceNow, and other applications.
- Define API strategy and standards covering REST/SOAP design, versioning, authentication, security, and API management.
- Design data mapping, transformation, validation, EDI, database, file-based, event-driven, and message-based integrations.
- Lead performance, scalability, capacity planning, alerting, logging, error handling, incident response, and root cause analysis.
- Define integration security architecture, including authentication, authorization, secrets management, and data protection.
- Lead current-state assessments, target-state designs, migration roadmaps, solution options, estimates, and proposal or statement-of-work inputs.
- Mentor developers, lead code and design reviews, chair architecture review boards, and provide technical direction across multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Produce architecture documentation including solution designs, integration catalogs, API specifications, sequence diagrams, and data flow diagrams.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in enterprise application integration.
- At least 5 years of hands-on Boomi design and development experience.
- Proven experience architecting and delivering large-scale, multi-system Boomi programs across hybrid cloud and on-premise environments.
- Experience owning integration architecture across multiple workstreams, mentoring developers, performing code reviews, managing deployments, and supporting production environments.
- Experience defining enterprise-level integration standards, reusable frameworks, governance practices, monitoring, incident management, and root cause analysis.
- Consulting or client-facing experience, including presenting architecture recommendations to senior client and IT leadership stakeholders.
- Expertise with Boomi Integration, API Management, DataHub/Master Data Hub, Flow, EDI, Event Streams, and AgentStudio.
- Experience designing integrations with REST APIs, SOAP services, webhooks, event-driven architectures, batch, real-time, publish/subscribe, and API-led patterns.
- Experience with enterprise platforms including NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Workday, Salesforce, Oracle ERP/HCM, and ServiceNow.
- Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, JWT, Basic Authentication, SAML, API Gateway concepts, XML, JSON, CSV, flat files, XSLT, and data transformation.
- Experience with database integrations involving SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with JMS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, AWS SQS/SNS, ANSI X12, and EDIFACT.
- Experience with Git, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, CI/CD, DevOps practices, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, performance optimization, communication, technical leadership, mentoring, and architecture documentation skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Boomi Architect, Boomi Professional Developer, Boomi Professional Integration Developer, Boomi API Management, or Boomi Master Data Hub certification is required or strongly preferred; MuleSoft, TOGAF, or other iPaaS and architecture certifications are a plus.
- Advanced English communication skills.
