Base Salary
$194k - $239k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable 3D measurement systems for customer measurement reports.
- Drive innovation in 3D tooling using modern graphics and geometry-processing technologies.
- Enhance the visual fidelity and interactivity of Workspace and Virtual Walkthrough.
- Integrate 3D experiences into Hover’s frontend and backend ecosystem with product, design, and engineering teams.
- Provide technical leadership for architecture, tools, and development best practices.
- Help shape Hover’s long-term technical direction in 3D visualization.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in 3D visualization, graphics, Constructive Solid Geometry, geometry processing, or CAD-related software.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with willingness to learn additional languages and frameworks.
- Strong mathematics foundation, including linear algebra and geometry.
- Ability to define technical requirements and produce clear, actionable documentation for open-ended problems.
- Full-stack software development experience and interest in modern web development practices.
- Experience with WebGL and libraries such as three.js or babylon.js is preferred.
- Familiarity with React or Angular is preferred.
- Experience with Houdini, SketchUp, or 3DS Max, including plugins or custom tooling, is preferred.
- Backend experience with Ruby, Node.js, or similar technologies is preferred.
