Base Salary
$138k - $184k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and refine heavy asynchronous execution patterns for maximum thread efficiency.
- Design, develop, and maintain complex, scalable, high-performance systems.
- Reduce memory allocations and GC pressure using profiling tools and advanced techniques.
- Identify and troubleshoot production issues with low-level root cause analysis.
- Analyze architectural trade-offs of different design choices.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to drive technical direction and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven track record in performance-critical domains dealing with heavy data streams.
- Practical experience with asynchronous, event-driven, or multi-threaded programming.
- Strong understanding of memory layout, cache-locality, and algorithmic trade-offs.
- Proficiency in managing large, fixed blocks of memory and mitigating fragmentation.
- Fluency in bit manipulation and pointer/offset arithmetic.
- 4+ years of professional experience in performance-first environments using C++, C, Rust, C#, or Java.
